As a Johannesburg born actor who has lived in New York for the 8 years and Los Angeles for 2, but has had the lifeblood of theatre forged in my veins from the work I did in Cape Town , I feel I have a unique interest in finding collaborations with artists, sites, sounds, ways of moving and ways of being that have touchstones with the genesis of how and why I make art myself. With a Masters from Columbia University in the City of New York I recently launched into Triple One Eight Productions. My works on television has had me on sets like Netflix's Orange is The New Black, CBS's The Good Fight as well as recently in Paramount +'s Star Trek Discovery. As such leveraging my contacts and my distinct need to collaborate with these global producers - I have just wrapped my second short film and am currently producing three titles slated for 2024-2025 - all led by African Creatives. Lastly as a 2023 receipient of the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans, I hope to leverage my success in front of the screen and the recognition it has brought towards South Africa - to push my company and projects through to the international market.
